No doubt you are familiar with and possibly own a Husqvarna chainsaw. Just like any machine, Husqvarna chainsaws are subject to mechanical problems once and a while. Before taking your chainsaw into a Husqvarna dealer, you may want to troubleshoot the issue and fix it yourself. Many repairs are not too difficult to achieve and Lawneq can set you up with any part you may need.
Troubleshooting problems with a Husqvarna chainsaw is an easy endeavor and can be achieved in five steps.
Step One: Check the chainsaw’s gas tank to determine if there is enough gasoline. If low in gas, fill up the tank.
Step Two: Next, check the spark plug to make sure it is in good condition. It is suggested that you remove and clean it and replace it back into the machine. If the plug is damaged, you will have to replace it.
Step Three: Let the engine run for a few minutes so that it warms up before actually using the chainsaw. This may be a necessary step during cold weather.
Step Four: Check the starter rope to assure that there is enough tension if you are having trouble starting the engine. If the rope is damaged, replace it. The Husqvarna chainsaw comes with a user manual. Check with it for instructions on how to replace the rope.
Step Five: If the chainsaw itself is not properly cutting, check its chain links. It is not uncommon for the chain links to rust or experience damage. If you find this to be the case, replace the chain links. If specific links are damaged, replace these links.
