Kubota Tractor Corporation, based in Grapevine, Texas, has introduced a new line of commercial stand-on lawn mowers. It is the first series the company has ever offered in the stand-on mower segment.
Dubbed the SZ Series stand-on mowers, it comes in three models –- the SZ19-36, SZ22-48, and the SZ26-52.
The new mowers are designed for landscapers that mow zero lot homes or commercial properties with narrow lawns that can’t be mowed with a zero turn lawn mower. The new SZ Series include a Kawasaki FX and FT electronic fuel injection (EFI), commercial engine, hydro-gear transmission, fast travel speed of up to 11 mph, depending on the model, and it is specifically designed with a low center of gravity for exceptional stability.
The mowers include ease of maintenance and designed to provide comfort. An ergonomic cushion pad offers maximum comfort to the operator and is designed to support the upper thigh area and reduce knee and lower back pressure while you stand on the mower. The wide and angled operator platform provides ample legroom and includes the option to flip up the platform and walk behind the mower.
Other features include tool-less front reference bar and tracking adjustments, adjustable dampened control levers, easy-access to maintenance points and flat-free tires designed to absorb impact and mitigate downtime.
The series will be available at Kubota dealerships starting in January 2019.
