In response to a Consumer Product Safety Commission recall on November 7, 2018, the Kubota Tractor Corporation recalls approximately 121,000 units of zero-turn mowers, compact tractors, and ride-on mowers due to hot coolant spraying from the overheated and pressurized coolant reservoir tank. Kubota has received three reports of burn injuries as a result of the issue.
Consumers are asked to stop using the recalled equipment and contact the company for a free replacement coolant reservoir tank cap. Kubota is contacting all known purchasers of the recalled items.
Kubota dealers sold the equipment in question across the United States from July 2014 through September 2018.
