Kubota Partners With Buhler Industries To Add New Tractors

In order to improve development lead-time and product specifications to satisfy local obligation, Kubota Corporation, located in Grapevine, Texas, has partnered with Buhler Industries to develop a new series of tractors. The Japanese-based company has decided to work with Buhler because it has a proven track record for designing, manufacturing and distributing large tractors in North America.

The purpose of the action is for Kubota to add new tractors to its fleet that have a greater horsepower range than its current large tractor model, which features 170-horsepower engines. The company also wishes to accelerate its large tractor business in the North American Market.

The new tractors have been exclusively customized for Kubota to improve operation and functional design and to assist Kubota to penetrate the large tractor market in North America.

The new tractors will be available in the United States and Canada beginning in the second half of 2019.

The action was announced on March 14, 2019.
