Kubota Tractor Corporation, marketer and distributor of Kubota- engineered and manufactured machinery and equipment including tractors and consumer lawn and garden equipment headquartered in Grapevine, Texas, has unveiled the new BX80-series of sub-compact tractors.
Powered by a diesel engine, the tractor series includes four models –- the BX1880, BX2380, BX2680, and the BX23S.
Kubota actually created the sub-compact tractor market category in 2000 when it introduced the BX sub-compact tractor.
The BX80 series models feature a rollover protection system that now fits through most standard 7-foot tall garage door openings.
The liquid-cooled 3-cylinder diesel engines that power these models deliver 18-, 23-, and 25.5-horsepower. The tractors are four-wheel drive.
Kubota also offers easy-to-attach tools designed for the BX80 series including the LA344 Swift-Tach loader for the BX1880, BX2380, and BX2680, and the LA340 Swift-Tach loader for the BX23S. The loaders can be removed or attached without the operator leaving the driver’s seat.
Also available are the new 4-point hitch that allows the connection of other accessories including blades, brooms, and snow blower, and the standard Category I 3-point hitch.
All four models offer multiple deck options including the easy over deck, which is a drive over deck.
In addition, the BX23S model includes a standard-equipped Swift-Connect Backhoe Unit that is easy to remove without tools or pins for storage. A wide range of bucket options including an 8-inch, 12-inch and 16-inch provide more productivity and assists in picking up items including logs.
The easy-to-read dash displays provide information the driver would need to operate the tractors and a cubbyhole with a 12-volt outlet equipped with a charging port is within reach of the driver to recharge a cell phone.
