Land Pride, manufacturer of implements for Kubota tractors with headquarters and research and development facilities in Salina, Kansas, and manufacturing facilities in Abilene, Kipp, and Lucas, Kansas is offering four series of aerators. They include:

• The CA15 Series Core Aerators

• The CA05 Series Core Aerators

• The CA25 Series Core Aerators

• The AR25 Series Pasture Aerators

CA15 Series Core Aerators

The CA15 Series includes four models –- the CA1548, the CA1556, the CA1564, and the CA1572. The aerators are designed to relieve soil compaction and to allow air circulation in grass surfaces including lawns; soccer, football, and baseball field, municipal parks and golf course fairways. They feature replaceable hardened spring steel spoons mounted on rotating discs. The implement includes a tray where weights can be placed to assure maximum spoon penetration.

The aerators require a horsepower of CAT. 0,1, or 1 LTD. The series comes in four widths –- 48-inches, 56-inches, 64-inches, and 72-inches. The CA15 Series Core Aerators are designed to match with the B Series, BX Series, L Series, and MX Series of Kubota tractors.

Other features include:

• A Quick-Hitch System that permits you to easily connect and disconnect the implement from the tractor while sitting in the tractor seat.

• A weight tray that features and expanded metal surface that prevents weights from falling into the spoon area.

• 6-3/16-inch spoon spacing on the forward travel and 4.5-inch lateral spoon spacing to ensure an ideal core pulling pattern and aeration.

• Individual spoon replacement that requires the removal of two bolts to remove a worn-out spoon. There is no need to disassemble the whole rotor section to gain access to the spoons.

CA05 Series Core Aerators

The CA05 series includes three pull-type models –- the CA0540, the CA0548, and the CA0556. They are designed to be used on garden tractors, zero turn mowers, and utility vehicles to relieve soil compaction and permit air circulation in grassy surfaces.

Designed for residential use and light applications, these aerators feature replaceable hardened spring steel spoons mounted on rotating discs. The spoons pull cores up to 2-1/2-inches in length. The spoons are spaced laterally every 4-inches. The aerator includes a weight tray that hosts extra weight to assure maximum spoon penetration.

The CA05 Series Aerators require full-type horsepower. The series comes in three widths –- 40-inches, 48-inches, and 56-inches. The models are designed for Kubota BX Series tractors.

Other features include:

• A quick-hitch system that permits easy connect and disconnect of the implement off the tractor from the tractor’s driver’s seat.

• Individual spoon replacement

• Spoon forward travel spacing of 8.5-inches and lateral spoon spacing of 4-inches.

CA25 Series Core Aerators

The CA25 Series includes two models –- the CA2560 and the CA2572. They are ideal for use on lawns, soccer, baseball, and football fields; municipal parks, and golf course fairways. They feature replaceable case hardened closed spoons mounted on weighted rotating discs. The spoons pull cores of up to 3-inches in length every 7-inches of forward travel. Water tanks provide the weight that, when filled with water, offer significantly increased down pressure on the spoons.

These aerators require a CAT. 1 horsepower. The series offers two machine widths –- 60-inches and 72-inches. The models can be used on B Series and L Series Kubota tractors.

Other features include:

• A quick-hitch system that allows for quick connect and disconnect from the tractor while you sit in the tractor’s driver’s seat.

• 2-1/2-inches by 2-1/2-inches by 3/16-inch of tubular construction that offers greater strength than angle iron and looks better, too.

AR25 Series Pasture Aerators

The AR25 Series Pasture Aerators include two models –- the AR2596 and the AR2510. These pull-type pasture aerators are designed for agricultural conservation tillage and pasture renovations. These aerators feature heavy-duty, knife-like tines with a twist that breaks up compacted soil both horizontally and vertically. This method of tilling conditions the soil to soak up run-off water faster, permits fertilizer to penetrate deeper into the ground, and increases the amount of oxygen and water to plant roots. Optional concrete weights help the tines to penetrate the ground at their maximum depth.

These aerators require 40 to 250 horsepower. The series offers two widths –- 8-feet and 10-feet. They are designed for the L Series, MX Series, and M Series Kubota tractors.

Other features include:

• A durable all-welded 4by4 tube frame.

• Forged and heat-treated tines that are resistant to wear and breaking

• 8-inch maximum tine penetration depending on ground conditions and added weight.

• Hydraulic lift for constant depth control.

• 3/8-inch skid shoes on the front, bottom and backsides of the aerator protect bearings against hitting solid objects including rocks and stumps.

• Optional 740-pound concrete weights assist the tines to penetrate the ground. The AR2596 accepts up to three concrete blocks and the AR2510 accepts up to four concrete blocks.
